Hello to all my friends out there on the web, I hope you all had a great weekend and Labor Day. Considering that the Republican National Convention is going on right now I would more than likely be doing a blog post on that, but since the convention didn’t start on Monday as it should have due to Hurricane Gustav, and the fact that last nights convention was what everyone expected with the exception of Lieberman’s speech, which by the way I thought was really good. I’m going to write about Sarah Palin a little more, and about some of the happenings on the periphery of the convention.

First off let’s start with Sarah Palin. We all know that she is the Governor of Alaska, married, mother of five, and now the Republican Vice Presidential nominee of John McCain. We are also aware that her infant son has Downs Syndrome and that her daughter Bristol is five months pregnant by her boyfriend Levy a local hockey star and self proclaimed "redneck." What exactly does all this mean or have to do with her decision to accept McCain’s offer to be his VP nominee pick, not a DAMN thing. All it means is that the left is scared witless about a woman on the Republican ticket when they couldn’t get one on their ticket.

You have people like that pond scum Michael Moore calling for a paternity test to prove the child is hers and not her daughters. How can it be her daughters baby when she is five months pregnant already, Moore really is the class dunce. Then of course there is Alan Colmes the leftist part of Hannity and Colmes saying in his blog that Sarah Palin is the reason that the child is Downs. That is not the way it works, and I should know because I have a 16 year old Downs Syndrome son…what a pig that Colmes is. So much for these people being pro choice because it seems to me that Palin and family have made their choices, they just didn’t choose abortion, what a novel idea.

Of course there is also all the attack ads from the far left leaning 527’s like Move On who are questioning her commitment and experience, as well as the Democratic Party, and Barack Obama. Barack Obama says he has more administrative experience because his campaign employs more staff and has a bigger budget than she did as mayor of Wasilla Alaska, well what about her staff of 24,000 and her budget of 11 billion as Governor of Alaska? Some how I don’t think that Obama’s campaign is bigger than that! As far as the "bridge to no where" is concerned, I don’t care if she was for it before she was against it, because when it counted she dumped the project, and didn’t take the money which was the right thing to do. She has had to face more criticism of her life, values, and family than if she were a man.

No one even mentions the fact that right after the car accident where Joe Biden lost loved ones that he returned to work almost immediately, or the fact that he lost his Presidential bid because of plagiarism. The left wing nuts and their surrogates are some of the most sexist and hateful people I have ever seen. They call themselves the party for change but they really are just elitist pigs, and the McCain/[Palin ticket and the Republican party are the ones that are for change.

Now I’m going to talk about some of the stuff that has been going on during the Republican National Convention. If you think back to the DNC last week, the republicans and their supporters/demonstrators behaved civilly with little or no trouble made for the law enforcement community while they were there, they just used their efforts to counter the Democrats in the media, and publicly outside the convention. However outside the RNC the demonstrators have gone mad with hate and fear. They have destroyed private as well as public property, attacked the law enforcement officers, and have cause nothing but a lot of civil unrest and hurt the business people. These criminals claim to be in support of the people but all they do is hurt innocent people and make their lives harder with their violence. There have been 300 arrests alone with regard to RNC Welcoming Committee or whatever they call themselves, but make no mistake they are anarchists.

I am sorry if I got off on a rant here a little bit today I really try not to do that, but it enrages me when these types of injustices occur. I hope you all have a fantastic day and I will see you on Friday for the post RNC wrap up, enjoy the video, CIAO4NOW!!!!!

Tim,
I, too, believe that the Democratic party is seeing its worst fears materialize with this campaign. They don't even have the words to express it.

Tim,
I understand your frustrations with the way the Democrats (not all of them...just some) are reacting to Sarah Palin. I watched her speech, I have been doing my homework. The only thing I have to say about this post is that I am disappointed in you. You went from being semi-non-biased, to blatant name slashing. I am upset with some of the stuff being said too, but you have seriously derailed from what I believed this blog to be about. Calm down honey, you are doing just what the Democrats are doing with your attacks!

Actually. I have to disagree with Sandi. It's obvious that Tim has done his homework and has only reported the facts. Non-biased doesn't meant that you don't call it when you see something wrong going on. No doubt he'd do the same thing if the republicans were attacking the democrats in the same despicable way. It's obvious that you get angry when you read something that you don't agree with, so you seem to be the one that is biased and petty. This blog is about reporting the facts, and everything in the blog post is a fact. Read it online, check with major news reports...it's all there.

Funny...it's called "name slashing" when you call it like it is with the democrats instead of truth. Of course that's the problem with the democrats today...they don't like the truth one bit and they always see the truth as an attack. Well...wake up and smell the coffee honey...truth isn't always pretty or politically correct. It's just the truth...perhaps you prefer to keep things civil and untruthful instead of having to deal with the truth. In that case, it's no wonder we have politicians like Obama...he's the candidate for those who can't take the truth.
