Date line September 29, 2008 and we still don't have a bailout bill for Wall Street and I say Thank God!!!!! I don't think we should bail out those thieves on Wall Street either because I don't think it's fair that my tax dollars and my grandchildren should have to be responsible for the bailout and repayment of the tax dollars if the bailout fails. Not only that but I think we should hold responsible for this mess those who helped create it both corporate CEO's and politicians alike.
First I think we should hold the Democratic Party itself responsible because without Bill Clinton and the Democratically controlled house and senate we would not have the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) which is basically the birth place of Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae becoming the giants they were and forced them to give out these high risk loans to people who couldn't afford to pay them back.
Second I think we should hold responsible and prosecute the corporate honchos who were and are responsible for presiding over these outfits that committed these crimes against the American taxpayer, Scum like Franklin Raines and James Johnson who cooked the books to make it look like they were making a profit so they could get their insane bonus's and salaries while telling us lies.
Third we should go after and demand the resignations of senator Chris Dodd and Congressman Barney frank. These two men chair the committees in both houses of Congress that are responsible for regulating and oversight of these rogue corporations and looked the other way. by the way have I mentioned before that Chris Dodd received more money/contributions to his reelection campaign than any other politician. talk about a conflict of interest.
Congress was warned as far back as 2004 that this was going to happen and did nothing about it preferring to excoriate the very people who were supposed to monitor these companies and report back to them when they did find a problem which they did. congress was also warned by John McCain who introduced legislation that would have protected the American taxpayer and was shot down by the Democrats because they didn't want to lose their cash cow.
I don't care why the bailout bill didn't pass because as I'm sure you can guess I am totally against it anyway. I would like to thank Nancy Pelosi the Democrat house majority leader. Without whose very partisan speech after the debate on the house floor and before the vote we might actually have passed this abomination against the American tax payer and the free market both of which are not responsible for this mess anyway.
Have an awesome day my friends and CIAO4NOW!!!!!
Well here we are…it's Friday and still no bailout plan for Freddy Mac, Fanny Mae, and AIG. This doesn’t surprise me in the least bit and I personally don’t think they should bail out these companies anyway.
As far as John McCain and Barack Obama suspending their campaigns to go back to Washington to work on getting a deal done that everyone will agree to, I think this is impossible. So I am glad they decided to go ahead and have the debate and get the hell out of D.C.
I am much more interested in what they will have to say on foreign policy and national security; however I don’t think that the debate is going to be solely about those two topics now. I think we are going to have to listen to them talk about what they would do about this trouble on Wall Street if they were President. It doesn’t matter what they would or will do as president right now because neither one of them are the President.
I think if the Administration and Congress really want to do something about the economy and the trouble in the financial markets, then they should consider a stimulus package that actually will stimulate the economy for the long term and I have a real good idea for one.
A friend of mine sent me an email earlier this week which describes the idea I have and which inspired it. At first I thought the idea ludicrous but after looking at the figures and considering how I would do it, I came up with the Tim’s Economic Stimulus Package. Anyway thank you my friend who sent me the email…you know who you are.
Here is my idea.
1) Don’t even think about the idea of 700 billion dollars 85 billion dollars should do which is the same amount as the bailout for AIG by the way.
2) Divide the 85 billion dollars by the amount of US citizens over the Age of 18 and I mean all of them even those who are on public assistance and give it to them that will total about 450 thousand dollars approximately per person. They would have to agree to pay off all of their debts though before they can spend it or invest it or they don’t get the money.
3) Tax that money at a rate of 25% to 30% which will automatically go back to the government.
4) Nobody gets a tax refund check for at least 5 years.
The result of this kind of economic stimulus package would be felt over night. There would be tax revenue for the government so they wouldn’t feel like they were being left out. The Democrats and republicans would feel like they actually helped their constituents. There would be no outstanding big debt amongst the citizens of this great country. Retail sales would boom like it was the biggest Christmas ever. Wall Street would explode with new investments and capital and the free market would be stronger than ever. There would be no more government created corporations like Freddy Mac or Fannie Mae they are dead weight and would simply cease to exist. This is all good isn’t it?
Unfortunately this will never happen because they don’t really feel like helping John Q Public. This is because 99.998 percent of the politicians out there are greedy bastards. You can lump about the same amount of corporate CEO’s into that same category. What they all want is to keep the American people down and their boots firmly planted on our necks that way they can all feel good about being the people with power and in control of virtually every kitchen table decision we all have to make in our day to day lives.
Sorry about the rant there but all this just pisses me off, so I am going to stop now before I pop a blood vessel or 10. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I will see all of you on Monday, CIAO4NOW!!!!!
I wrote a blog yesterday dealing with racism and that the only racism I saw was on the Democratic side of the Presidential race. I thought today I might write something about the two Presidential candidates going to Washington to help with the passing of a bi-partisan bill for the bailout of Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac, and AIG, and whether or not their presence there other than as Senators would really matter.
However I saw this piece of news on one of the cable news networks and I could not believe my eyes or ears, or perhaps I should not be surprised. I heard another Democrat politician who is not only apparently a racist but black as well. Democrat Florida Representative Alcee Hastings made the racial comment at a panel discussion hosted by the Jewish Democratic Council.
At the event, Alcee Hastings warned two minority groups by saying of Sarah Palin “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much what they do with Jews and Blacks” a very racist comment. He went on to say “if Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention”. Obviously this man is also a fear mongerer as well as a racist. Fortunately there are some within this mans party who do not condone the remarks he made today. Democrat Alabama Representative Artur Davis is one of those who denounced Hastings comments.
I don’t know about the rest of you but I would really like to know why all these racists are coming out of the wood work in the Democratic Party and why all of them seem to be black. I really am surprised that the party that claims to be for the people would tolerate individuals such as these within their ranks. Don’t forget the Democratic Party is the same party that also has West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd a former member of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan as one of their senior Senators. It seems to me that they can’t even decide on which ethnic group to hate.
That’s all I have to say on the subject today and I promise I will try to write about something else tomorrow. I hope you all have a great day, CIAO4NOW!!!!!

Happy hump day my friends! I’m not going to talk about the economy today, although I know that’s what is on everyone’s mind right now. Today I’m going to discuss racism and racism in the Presidential campaign.
First let’s discuss racism and the mindsets of various groups on the subject. I will be the first one to say that racism is an ugly thing and I used to be one of the most racist people you have ever met. I know from a vast amount of experience that racism is still very prevalent in our society today. It isn’t just relegated to people in the south because I have travelled all over this country and have seen it everywhere from Minnesota to California to New York. Racism is not just assigned to one group of people or used against one group of people either.
For purposes of this post however I am going to use racism against blacks as the topic, bearing in mind that a lot of blacks have racist views as well against whites and Hispanics and I may touch on that. I will tell you that I know why people are capable of so much hate when it comes to color of the skin and the primary reason is fear.
With regard to black people there was not a lot of contact between blacks and the early Europeans who settled here and those in Europe. What contact there was, was limited to the African continent where they were in their natural habitat and in the islands of the Caribbean. In those settings they were viewed as savages due to the way they had to survive against the elements, land, and the other tribes they were at war with. Understandably this created fear in the Anglos who came into contact with them.
Unfortunately for the Africans these conditions also created an environment where the tribes who won battles and wars against opposing tribes could rid themselves of their enemies by selling the people whom they defeated into bondage and thereby created the slave trade and the Europeans were the perfect customers requiring cheap labor for their plantations and factories both on the dark continent and in the new world and Europe as well. While the Europeans still feared them on their own ground in chains and on the Europeans ground they were controllable and they lived like that for a couple of centuries before slavery was abolished. The sad truth though is that it was Africans who created the slave trade not the whites.
As a result of this, there is a lot of hate and mistrust between the black and white communities to this day and there is plenty of racism on both sides. I will add this one caveat though and that is that while the blacks may believe that they were oppressed, and I am sure they were, they have their own people to blame for that oppression not just whites.
Also I will tell you that when compared to another race of people here in the United States who was also oppressed they didn’t have it as bad as they. Those people are the Native American people. During the time of slavery in the US there was a concerted effort to wipe them out. Every treaty ever made with them was broken. They were removed from their ancestral homes onto reservations where living conditions were even more deplorable than most slave operated plantations and factories. It was even said that the only good Indian was a dead Indian because they weren’t even intelligent enough to learn basic social skills considered valuable by both whites and blacks. I think they are the ones who are entitled to compensation. I sympathize with the black community on the issue but let the blacks get compensation from the people who sold them in to slavery they are still in Africa.
With regard to racism in the Presidential campaign I have looked at all the web, TV, and print I could get my hands on and the only people I found who have inserted or attempted to insert race into the race is the Democrats. There have been no racial comments made by John McCain, his surrogates, or the Republican Party. Race wasn’t even mentioned until Barack Obama brought it up as an attempt to scare his supporters and the minority voters into supporting him based on race. Of course there was the Reverend Wright thing to but I think anyone with an ounce of common sense knows he’s an idiot and a racist anyway.
That’s all for today and I’m sorry it’s late but I hope you have all found it informational. I will see you all tomorrow. Have a great day, CIAO4NOW!!!!!

Well here it is Tuesday already and we find that congress still doesn’t have the bill for the bailout of Freddy Mac, Fanny Mae, or AIG passed, but I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise. The President gets the bosses of the Fed and Treasury Hank Paulson and Ben Bernanke together at the White House to find out how to repair this current economic crisis and these guys work all weekend to get the work done and present it to Congress on Monday and the geniuses in control of both houses hold it up because they are not satisfied.
The reason that these politicians claim they are not satisfied is because they want more oversight, tighter regulation, and salary caps for the execs that are going to run things. What they are not telling you and I the American taxpayer is that they also want to load it up with a lot of pork (earmarks).
They want to put in things like a stimulus package and help for homeowners who are about to lose their homes. These are the same people who got outrageous home loans that they never could have paid back in the first place because they were low income high risk candidates for credit. Of course we the taxpayers will have to foot the bill to let them stay in a home they still can’t afford even after they get refinanced or what ever. This is just one example.
Then of course you have the respective candidates out stumping yesterday and running their mouths about what they would do about this particular problem. You have John McCain telling everyone he has a plan to deal with this crisis which he has gone to great lengths to discuss. Of course he also holds Barack Obama and the Democratic Party responsible for this mess we are in.
However I am not going to tell you he is wrong about the Democrats because three years ago he announced that this could and would happen with Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac and he introduced legislation to regulate and oversee these run away train wrecks waiting to happen and the Democrats shot the bill down. At the time Barack Obama wasn’t even in the US Senate so he had nothing to do with it. You can blame it on Senators Chris Dodd and Barney Frank though; it is their committees that allowed this to happen.
Then there is the anointed one, Barack Obama, telling everyone that John McCain has been in Washington for ever and has not even tried to do anything about this, which is a total falsehood. On top of which this guy doesn’t even have a plan in place to deal with the problem at hand although he has said that he spoke to Secretary of the Treasury Paulson and he is waiting to see what will happen. In the mean time he has as his financial advisors, two people who made tens of millions of dollars while working at Fanny Mae while all of those shenanigans were going on, and those two men are Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson. I think Obama should ask them to give back all the money they got while driving that federally created corporation into the ground…..yeah right!!!!!
As for the candidates plans or lack of plans to deal with this financial problem they don’t matter anyway because neither one of them is in the White House or in any kind of position to do anything about it anyway other than vote for or against the bill when it comes to the Senate floor for a vote. What congress ought to do is leave the bill as presented to them by Secretary Hank Paulson alone and just pass the damn thing, then get out of the way. As for oversight, I believe that Paulson is more than capable of appointing an oversight board that will actually be there to oversee these companies being bailed out.
That’s all for now I hope you all have found this post informative. It is all true but I urge you to research the subject yourself and decide what you believe. Have a great day, CIAO4NOW!!!!!
P.S. To Nancy Pelosi.....Yes the democrats are responsible for this problem because you created the monsters that fell!!!!!

Hello again friends. I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday morning. Today I'm posting a post that I previously posted on another blog, but after some thought, I really felt it was appropriate here too. So, here we go….I hope you enjoy.
As a father and as a father of a special needs child in particular, my ex and I were faced with some very tough decisions when we found out that our son was going to have Downs Syndrome. One of the options given to us by the doctors was abortion, which is a very serious action to consider, and for us it was never an option. In fact, it was never considered by me with regard to any of my kids.
Now the law says that the woman has the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion and while I am personally pro life, I could not in good conscience try to make that decision for someone who has to go through a pregnancy and the possible complications that go with it. However I can educate myself on the topic of abortion and here are a couple of facts.
1) More babies have been aborted in this country than all the Jews and non Jewish people that were exterminated by Adolph Hitler during the Second World War. Does this make abortion genocide?
2) Partial birth abortion takes the baby's life even after it has had a chance to draw a breath. Do you think this is humane?
3) If you are lucky enough to survive an attempted abortion the chances are the individual performing the procedure will still end your life. Is the doctor guilty of murder?
Now it is time for me to politicize this issue and I regret having to do it. As we all know John McCain is a pro life candidate and Barack Obama is a pro choice candidate. Do you remember when John McCain picked Sarah Palin to be his running mate? I do. There was such media frenzy and so much hate poured out against the woman, simply because she was brave enough to have a special needs child. People were saying that she should have had an abortion just because the baby was born differently than most other babies. All of those old pro choice hags just could not handle the fact that she made her choice because she chose life.
I even heard it said that Barack Obama made the offer to pay for Sarah Palin's daughter to have an abortion because he didn't think she should be punished at 17 by having a baby and I also found out the Barack Obama is for abortion in any form. I personally hope that he never really made that offer. After all, it is her choice…right?
That is all I have to write about for now and I hope I haven't offended anyone here by writing this blog. It is just a few facts and what I think and feel about the subject. I hope you enjoy the video and that you look at the faces in it carefully because they could have been your baby. Thanks to the law that we have now there are many more of these children aborted than are born and simply because they are different. I don't even want to go into how many healthy babies have been aborted. Have a great day, CIAO4NOW!!!!!

Hello folks, I hope you all have had a good week and are looking forward to a little "you" time this weekend. Sorry I didn’t post yesterday but I had some business to take care of but it’s all good now and I’m good to go.
Today I want to talk a little bit about Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, and partisanship. It seems that Hillary Clinton was invited to speak to an anti Iranian rally in New York City at the United Nations which is a good thing. It also seems that Sarah Palin was invited to the same rally…..also a good thing. The problem is that Hillary Clinton wasn’t told by the organizers that Sarah Palin was invited and in a fit cancelled her attendance at the rally.
This did not deter Sarah Palin from her wish to attend and speak at the event. However, in their infinite wisdom the knuckleheads who invited her over at Stop Iran Now Coalition disinvited her and removed her from the speakers list. This prompted spokes people on the republican side to say that this was done under pressure from Democratic partisans. Considering this lady could be the next Vice President it might have been a good idea to treat her with a little respect and let her speak because she might be a good person to have on your side.
While I think it is possible that some pressure was brought to bear by agents of the Democratic Party I find it highly unlikely. I just think that the folks over at Stop Iran Now are just stupid. As for Hillary Clinton dropping out I just think she didn’t want to be upstaged by Sarah Palin and that prompted her decision not partisanship.
With regard to the idea behind the rally I think it is a great idea. Iran and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are certainly a threat to Israel and if they get a nuclear weapon they will be a threat to us and our other allies as well. This most definitely should not be a partisan issue and I think both Clinton and Palin should have attended and spoke out against Iran. But now it seems the whole thing has been politicized by Clinton whether it was intended or not…how stupid.
Well that’s it for today and this week. I will see all of you next week, so have an awesome weekend, CIAO4NOW!!!!!
