Barack's Associations And What That Says About His Charachter Or Lack There Of.....

They say that you can tell a lot by the company that a person keeps. I personally think that this saying is very true. I would even go so far as to say that I do judge most if not all people I meet by the company that they do keep. I know that that probably sounds very judgmental, but the truth is that we live in dangerous times and I would rather err on the side of caution than have me or mine endangered by not being cautious enough.
All of that being said it leads me to my topic for today. Which is President Obama and his associations. I find his associations both past and present to be both curious and important when it comes to my decision whether I am going to trust him to protect this country both within and without our borders.
Now people will say that he is new at his job and we should cut him some slack, while others will say that I am being racist because I question his associations and by that means his motives, which must imply racism because no one judged Bush by his associations, which is not true.
There has been much made of our Presidents relationships in the past, but never any real investigation, because the mostly liberal press did not want to do anything to endanger Barack’s campaign or give his Republican opposition any ammo to use against him. That did not surprise me because I know that the media is to busy looking out for their own interest’s, not ours. However I am more than willing to investigate his associations, so let’s take a look at them right now.
We know that Barack Obama has associated with both homegrown terrorists such as Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn and at least one international terrorist by the name of Rashid Khalidi who says he is a FORMER member of the PLO. (Palestinian Liberation Organization)
His relationships with thieves are also very public knowledge. He is an associate of Tony Rezco who is currently serving time for his crimes. There is also the matter of his association with Franklin Raines and James Johnson his former financial advisors during his campaign. They both stole millions of dollars from Fannie Mae when they were CEO’s of the company as well as defrauded their investors and the government with falsified reports to obtain the funds they pilfered.
We also know that he is or has been associated with racists in the forms of both Jeremiah Wright and Calypso Louie Farrakhan. One of these men was his pastor and spiritual mentor and the other the leader of The Nation of Islam. Of course he claimed not to know anything about Reverend Wright’s views and didn’t even answer when questioned about Louis Farrakhan.
There are also his known associations with Khalid Abdullah Tariq Al-Mansour a self professed radical Muslim and former member of the Black Panthers a radical group from the 60’s, and Father Phleger who is just a plain radical, idiot and political activist. Just two more reasons to question Obama’s judgment with regard to whom he chooses to be associated with.
Now we come down to his current associations. It seems that tax evaders are in vogue for relationships where our President is concerned this political season. First the is Timothy Geithner who has just been confirmed as Secretary of the Treasury and now Tom Daschle who is looking to be confirmed as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Geithner didn’t pay his taxes for about six years and falsified his tax returns, while Daschle back taxes troubles have just come to light. Daschle has been reported to have received monies from groups that could directly benefit if he is successfully appointed to the DHHS position.
Throw into this mix NM Governor Bill Richardson who is facing federal investigation, Charlie Rangel’s investigation for failing to report rental income on property in the DR, (Dominican Republic) and the Eric Holder question about his support for a Presidential Pardon for Marc Rich the fugitive financier, and you got a lot of questions to ask about Obama’s judgment on character.
It seems to me that our President has been plagued by scandalous associations for the better part of his political career and some of the people here that he has picked to help him run the country scare me to death. People will tell you that even with all of this evidence you should still trust Barack, but he has to earn my trust and everyone else’s as well. I don’t think that he has done anything yet to have earned it either.
That’s it for today my friends I will be back again soon. Have a great day, CIAO4NOW!!!!!
P.S. Look out for my new entertainment blog coming soon, maybe even tomorrow.

Happy hump day my friends! I’m not going to talk about the economy today, although I know that’s what is on everyone’s mind right now. Today I’m going to discuss racism and racism in the Presidential campaign.
First let’s discuss racism and the mindsets of various groups on the subject. I will be the first one to say that racism is an ugly thing and I used to be one of the most racist people you have ever met. I know from a vast amount of experience that racism is still very prevalent in our society today. It isn’t just relegated to people in the south because I have travelled all over this country and have seen it everywhere from Minnesota to California to New York. Racism is not just assigned to one group of people or used against one group of people either.
For purposes of this post however I am going to use racism against blacks as the topic, bearing in mind that a lot of blacks have racist views as well against whites and Hispanics and I may touch on that. I will tell you that I know why people are capable of so much hate when it comes to color of the skin and the primary reason is fear.
With regard to black people there was not a lot of contact between blacks and the early Europeans who settled here and those in Europe. What contact there was, was limited to the African continent where they were in their natural habitat and in the islands of the Caribbean. In those settings they were viewed as savages due to the way they had to survive against the elements, land, and the other tribes they were at war with. Understandably this created fear in the Anglos who came into contact with them.
Unfortunately for the Africans these conditions also created an environment where the tribes who won battles and wars against opposing tribes could rid themselves of their enemies by selling the people whom they defeated into bondage and thereby created the slave trade and the Europeans were the perfect customers requiring cheap labor for their plantations and factories both on the dark continent and in the new world and Europe as well. While the Europeans still feared them on their own ground in chains and on the Europeans ground they were controllable and they lived like that for a couple of centuries before slavery was abolished. The sad truth though is that it was Africans who created the slave trade not the whites.
As a result of this, there is a lot of hate and mistrust between the black and white communities to this day and there is plenty of racism on both sides. I will add this one caveat though and that is that while the blacks may believe that they were oppressed, and I am sure they were, they have their own people to blame for that oppression not just whites.
Also I will tell you that when compared to another race of people here in the United States who was also oppressed they didn’t have it as bad as they. Those people are the Native American people. During the time of slavery in the US there was a concerted effort to wipe them out. Every treaty ever made with them was broken. They were removed from their ancestral homes onto reservations where living conditions were even more deplorable than most slave operated plantations and factories. It was even said that the only good Indian was a dead Indian because they weren’t even intelligent enough to learn basic social skills considered valuable by both whites and blacks. I think they are the ones who are entitled to compensation. I sympathize with the black community on the issue but let the blacks get compensation from the people who sold them in to slavery they are still in Africa.
With regard to racism in the Presidential campaign I have looked at all the web, TV, and print I could get my hands on and the only people I found who have inserted or attempted to insert race into the race is the Democrats. There have been no racial comments made by John McCain, his surrogates, or the Republican Party. Race wasn’t even mentioned until Barack Obama brought it up as an attempt to scare his supporters and the minority voters into supporting him based on race. Of course there was the Reverend Wright thing to but I think anyone with an ounce of common sense knows he’s an idiot and a racist anyway.
That’s all for today and I’m sorry it’s late but I hope you have all found it informational. I will see you all tomorrow. Have a great day, CIAO4NOW!!!!!

Good day my friends. I hope this finds you all happy, wise, healthy, and wealthy. It is time for the Wednesday installment of Simple Man Politics and we are going to discuss part 3 of the O’Reilly/Obama interview which is about Obama’s associations with radicals and racists.
The first association that they discussed was Obama’s association with Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Obama indicated that the relationship between them was as pastor and a member of the congregation. He told O’Reilly that he joined a church to worship God and that all that stuff about Wright being his spiritual mentor he had consistently discussed in the past. He stated that he hadn’t heard Wright make any offensive statements. It should be pointed out though that Wright was selling recordings of his preaching’s in the lobby of his church. You would have to wonder how Obama never heard of Wrights beliefs in all the time he attended his church. Obama went on to add that the relationship had been ruptured and he was no longer a member of the church. As for Father Phleger, he met him while doing work in the community same as Wright.
Their next topic of conversation was the relationship between Obama and Ayres, which Obama accused O’Reilly of hyping. Obama stated that their friendship went no further than the fact that they served together on the board of the Woods Foundation. He also stated that the bombings by the Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, and his wife occurred when he was 8 years old. Obama went on to say that just because he knew Ayers and worked with him did not mean he supported his views. O’Reilly mentioned a youth crime bill that was being lobbied which would have given juvenile violent offenders adult prison time after the second offense.
Personally I can’t hold Obama responsible for what someone did when he was 8 years old. However I can hold him responsible for the associations and relationships he chooses to cultivate. I honestly do not believe that you can attend a pastor’s church for 20 years and not know his religious and personal views especially when he was rumored to be Obama’s spiritual mentor.
On the subject of Bill Ayers I personally think that Obama was well aware of Ayers beliefs and should have distanced himself form Ayers from the start. I will not be comfortable with a President who has had a relationship with a terrorist.
As far as Father Phleger is concerned I believe anyone who thinks that Farrakhan is a great man is on some sort of hallucinogenic and is in serious need of rehab and re-education. Farrakhan is the ultimate racist and anti-Semite.
I’m not telling you who or what to believe because you have to figure that out for yourself. For me, the choice is easy. It’s either a war hero patriot or a socialist subversive and I pick the war hero patriot. That's just good simple politics for me. I will see you guys tomorrow to discuss tonight’s part 4 of the O’Reilly/Obama interview which is the last part of the interview. The link for the interview is at the bottom of the post. Have a good night, CIAO4NOW!!!!!

Hello everybody it's time for another installment of Simple Man Politics. I hope you had a great weekend. This week we have the Democratic National Convention taking place in the mile high city of Denver, Colorado, so this weeks posts are going to be dedicated to Barack Obama, his Vice Presidential pick, Joe Biden, and their party’s and member’s direction through the convention, and beyond. Today we are going to concentrate on Obama. Are you all ready to get started? I am, so let's do it.
We all know that Barack Obama was a nobody when he threw his hat in the ring for his party’s nomination for President in the 2008 race for the White House. He got his start in politics as a community organizer and eventually moved up to state senator for eight years in the state of Illinois. Then he moved up to the US Senate where he is a first term senator, but it was only a short time before he decided to run for President of the United States. His first step into the national spotlight came at the 2004 Democratic National Convention where he gave the keynote speech to the party for the Kerry/Edwards ticket.
Since Barack Obama announced his bid for the Party nomination on Febuary 10, 2007, he has come from virtual obscurity to being his party’s Presidential nominee. He has dispatched his opponents handily, including the then presumptive front runner Hillary Rodham Clinton, who hung on until every last state and delegate was counted. He did this by saying that he was against the war in Iraq from the beginning, saying it was the hardest decision of his political career. He also stated that he is in full support of Roe v Wade, nationalized health care, levying more taxes on the wealthy, supports tighter gun control legislation, and no more drilling or discovering our own domestic sources of energy. Obama also said that he was for invading Pakistan if Osama Bin Laden is located there.
Obama’s meteoric rise to superstar status within the Democratic Party hasn’t been with out incident. First there was his association with the racist and possibly anti Semitic Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whom Obama claimed was his mentor for many years, while claiming he never knew the good reverends views on race and nation. Next came his apparent relationship with the Weather Undergrounds very own Bill Ayers, a homegrown terrorist who is proud of the bombings against the US by his organization, and who says his only wish was that they could have done more. Let us not forget Obama’s own wife the charming Michelle Obama who claims that she had never been proud of her country until her husband won the Democratic Party nomination, and also said the United States was a very mean country.
Then after all of that, he picks as a Vice Presidential running mate, Joe Biden, who not even two weeks ago stated that Obama didn’t have the experience or seasoning it took to be President of these United States. Last but not least, lest we forget, Obama has a problem with Americans clinging to their god and guns, and cannot even give a straight answer on any issue. His favorite words seem to be "um", and "uh", and words of that nature - befitting of a man with a Harvard education?
Well there you have him, Barack Hussein Obama in a nutshell. I don’t understand how the war in Iraq could be one of his hardest decisions when he wasn’t even a US Senator at the time the war was commenced. As for his stance with regard to the myriad of other issues he says he supports, they all just prove him to be your typical tax and spend democrat, and don’t for one minute think your taxes won’t be raised, because if he gets elected and rolls back the Bush tax cuts your taxes will surely go up. As for universal health care, that along with his views on taxation and the economy, only proves to me once again that he is a committed socialist, and committed to the idea that he knows better than you what is good for you. One more thing, on the subject of energy…drill here, drill now, and help keep our country secure, and explore all the different types of energy like natural gas, wind, geothermal, and nuclear, its just good simple politics.
That’s all I have to say on the subject of the Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Hussein Obama. Like I always say though, while I report the facts to you, you still have to decide for yourself. I hope you all have a great day and I will see you all on Wednesday, CIAO4NOW!!!!!
Check out this cool video my significant other made!!!!!
