Well I have been looking for something to write about today here on Simple Man Politics, but I couldn’t find just one great topic to write about. As result I have picked four or five I want to get into. With any luck this post won’t take to log and you will find it interesting and a little humorous also. I will tell you that these are the most interesting topics I could find. Any way what do you say we get started, okay?

What’s with all of the news coverage about Obama, Biden, Gates, and Sgt Crowley getting together over a Beer Summit at the White House? It aint like this was a G8 summit or something like that; it was just a few beers. Granted there wouldn’t even have been a Beer Summit if Obama hadn’t opened his mouth and inserted his foot, because he didn’t know all of the facts. Heck Obama still didn’t apologize for his screw up or serve beer from an American owned brewery.

Who cares whether Janet Napolitano calls terrorism terrorism or not, even if she calls it a man made disaster we all know it is terrorism. We citizens of the state of Arizona already know she is an idiot and a fool with absolutely no experience in securing a state let alone a nation. This DUMBASS not only believes that only right wing extremists are terrorists, but she thinks sanctuary cities and illegal’s are good for our nation.

About the Al Franken/T. Boone Pickens fracas, well who really cares what Al Franken thinks about Pickens, swift boats, and John Kerry Pickens certainly don’t care. Pickens and the swift boaters were right about John Kerry and his service during The Vietnam Conflict anyway and Kerry couldn’t have beat G.W. Bush on his best day. Besides what does all of this have to do with getting us away from dependence on foreign oil? One other thing T. Boone Pickens has been successful while Franken has been a failure.

I have to ask all of you something and that is if you care whether or not President Obama loses the support of Hustler magazine owner Larry Flint. I personally don’t care one way or another what Larry Flint thinks, because he isn’t the one that has to be President B.O. is. What really surprises me is that Obama has any real support with the programs him and the Dem’s are pushing.

That it for now folks I guess no news is good news, and there is nothing else I can think about writing about for now. I am sure I can and will come up with more next week though so I will see you all then. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend my friends CIAO4NOW!!!!!

Oh my God what else are they going to do to weaken our nation and its security? These idiots that were so blindly voted into office under the cover of change, nominated to positions of power under the banner of change, and appointed to positions of power under the mantle of change all have one thing in common they don’t know how to defend a nation let alone run one.

All they seem to want to do is to weaken our nation even further making us an easier target for attack sooner rather than never. The inside attacks against us run the gamut from the oval office and congress to the justice department and homeland security.

I can see our enemies readying themselves at our borders to attack and salivating at the possibility of sinking their teeth into the great bastion of democracy known as the United States and killing it. The thing that amazes me is that they have as allies our own government who are doing all that they can to assist them.

Obama is looking at ways to cut defense spending in order to pay for nationalized healthcare, education, and other social programs he supports. He just won an important battle in that arena by stopping the F-22 program, which would definitely make is the ultimate power in air superiority as well as employ 90,000 + people, now the project and the jobs are gone.

Eric Holder the US Attorney General is now investigating the possibility of prosecuting AG lawyers and those who had knowledge of enhanced interrogation techniques during the Bush administration. Obama had promised no prosecutions of these people would be pursued, which was of course a lie.

This is happening again all thanks to our President who released memos stating that these attorneys found the use of these techniques legal. This does not count the damage done from releasing these memos, which now gives our enemies a look at our game plan for extracting important information from uncooperative terrorists.

Obama is also going to close the Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility and attempt to bring these enemy combatants and terrorists to the continental United States. Further more he is going to have them tried in the US Federal Criminal Court System instead of by military tribunal.

All of this is dangerous to our citizenry because not only will they be within or national borders, but they will have Habeas Corpus rights and Geneva Convention protection when they are not even eligible for that protection because they are not members of a nationally recognized uniformed military.

Then there is of course our very own inept Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. She has absolutely no idea how to even defend our borders or where exactly the dangers on our borders really are.

She is so stupid that she actually compared the US/Canadian border with the US/Mexican border stating that we needed to defend our northern border even more aggressively because that is where the 9/11 highjacker’s came into the US. That has been proven to be false by the way and it was established that the 9/11 terrorists all entered the US directly from over seas.

Further more she stated that our multi billion dollar southern border barrier that stretches from California to Texas could halt the cross border drugs and violence that is spilling over into our country from Mexico. What damn border barrier is she talking about, because we haven’t even built one quarter of it yet?

At this point I am trying to decide whether or not to brush up on my Spanish, or learn Farsi, or perhaps just do both. One thing appears almost certain to me if we manage to survive four years of an Obama administration and Democrat control of both houses of congress.

Once there is a conservative majority back in control of both of those branches of government it will take at least a generation of our citizens to recover from the damage that will be inflicted upon us. However I hope that the mid term elections partially rectify some of this problem including the deposing of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, Barney Frank, and Chris Dodd.

I’m here to tell ya Thank God its Friday. I am going to take the weekend off from politics and just kick it on the home front. I am so tired of having nothing better to do than disproving the far lefts continual lying on every subject they open their hate filled ignorant mouths about.

I’m just going to run down a short list of some of these lies and deceits that they are becoming famous for, and politicians aren’t the only ones I’m going to mention here today the liberal drive by media gets a spot in this blog today too.

Obama is first on the list, but there are so many things he has lied about that I don’t know where to begin. I know a lie he just retold after the theory was thoroughly debunked and that is the lie that most weapons being used in the drug war in Mexico are from the US. The ATF just proved that to be wrong and Obama goes down to Mexico and tells it again.

I hate this one to it says that the EPA is going to take steps to regulate climate change. Climate change and Global Warming is the greatest lie of the 20th and 21st centuries. The climate is changing all the time, whether it is warming or cooling. These things always come in cycles it has been proven so what are you going to do regulate Mother Nature.

Here is one of my favorite targets the great liar Janet Napolitano who is the former Governor of the state of Arizona and now heads up the HDS. She had the unmitigated gall to actually release an “Intelligence Assessment” that says our returning veterans are potential terrorists ripe for recruitment by radical right wing extremists groups. Activists on the left are far more violent and terrorist like than those who just took part in the Tax Day Tea Parties.

Eric Holder the new AG of the US went to West Point Military Academy and promptly attacked former President George W, Bush in a speech. The problem was that the speech was filled with lies that had already been disproven and not only by those on the right, but those on the left as well.

I hate the liberal left media and their bias towards the conservative movement. The Tax Day Tea Parties were a success, there was no violence and only one arrest and that was not related to these protests. Yet media outlets like CNN, MSNBC, NBC and so on attempted to portray those attending the parties as nothing more than radical activists who cling to their god and their guns and would you believe even their constitutional rights, but that is true.

Former NYPD Chief Bernard Keric actually was surprised that this was the first protest that he had ever seen where people brought their families. He and many others who have experience in dealing with protests that these Tea Parties were the perfect example of what peaceful protests should look like.

The last person I am going to take a shot at today is our very own Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. This is the woman who travels the world denouncing our nation as at fault for everything bad that has ever happened. She along with Obama actually is encouraged by the overtures they have received from other socialist and communist nations. The Obama administration actually feels that our citizens are more of a danger to the country than dictators like Castro, Ahmadinejad, and Kim Jong Il. They have apparently forgotten the histories of these despots.

Tea Parties are a great idea, but these are not the tea parties you grandma and grandpa used to attend. There will be no tea and crumpets, or cakes, or cookies, there will only be teabags and lots of Americans who are mad as hell.

The people you will meet at these tea parties going on today will not be the refined high society types, at least they won’t be the only ones there, because people from all walks of life will be there protesting taxation without representation and a government to big to function efficiently.

Public protest has always been a tool in any activist’s arsenal and that is just what the Tax Day Tea Party is all about. It is a way for those people who are angry at what our government is doing to peacefully protest the government’s actions in a public forum.

Liberal activist groups are especially good at employing the public protest weapon when they feel the need. Groups like ACORN, NAACP, Code Pink, and PETA use it on a regular basis. Unfortunately their protests do not always end peacefully, so public protest has a fear factor attached to it.

The result of this fear factor being used as a weapon of sorts by our government against the citizenry of this country is the purely false report the DHS under Janet Napolitano had compiled when she found out about the Tea Party protests going on in dozens of cities and its subsequent release just one week before the Tea Parties start on Tax Day, which is today.

In this DHS report or intelligence assessment as they call it there were some things in it that have not set well with some congressmen, senators, and citizens. The report said that there is a threat of right wing extremism. This report also characterized veterans who have returned from the fighting overseas as right wing extremists. The report went even further by saying that these veterans were potential terrorists and susceptible to extremist recruiters.

This report was written for no other reason other than to give the very socialist, far left, radical Democratic Party that currently controls two thirds of our government a means to combat the truth. Unfortunately they are combating the truth with lies, by using lies to generate fear. However the truth will always win out and as a result it is they who are fearful and worrying about losing the power that they won on November 4th, 2008.

Unfortunately for us the people they are bilking out of trillions of dollars, and are forcing to accept big government, as well as the unnecessary entitlements. It is a sad truth that we can’t do anything about these left wing extremists who are in power until the 2010 midterm elections when they can be voted out of power.

Here we are not even 24 hours after I write about the deportation of all Mexican illegal aliens back to their own home land and now Obama is considering whether or not to send the National Guard to the US/Mexican border. Apparently he is considering this as an answer to the violence in the Mexican border towns of Juarez, Nogales, and Tijuana.

I can’t help but wonder that if we had been a little more aggressive in enforcing our immigration laws we might not have to worry so much about the violence spilling over into our country. It has been reported by Fox News from several state and federal officials that representatives from the Mexican cartels who are at war are in the US acting as gang members in cities like Phoenix, Atlanta, and Birmingham.

These animals who make up the Mexican drug cartels are more of a threat to our national security than anyone in Afghanistan or Pakistan right now. The four main cartels currently field a combined armed force on the ground of at least 100,000 men. Fortunately they are in the process of killing each other right now instead of American citizens.

I think one of the main obstacles to this problem could have been erected a few years ago when it was voted on and approved by President Bush and both houses of congress and that is the border fence. Instead the bleeding heart liberals who are now running our government along with the RINO’s who were in both houses have thrown up road block after road block in their on going effort to stop it from being built.

In the mean time they now support amnesty for those here illegally and some of those are directly involved with the very criminals who are now getting away with the wholesale slaughter that is occurring daily just to the south of us. The also allow sanctuary cities to openly welcome, house, and protect illegal’s from federal authorities who are trying to enforce the immigration laws.

Did you know that right now the FBI under authority from DHS (Department of Homeland Security) who is now ran by Janet Napolitano the former Governor of the state of Arizona is investigating Maricopa County Sherriff Joe Arpaio for enforcing the immigration laws in his own county? This is because Napolitano supported the idea of sanctuary cities in Arizona, and she couldn’t stop Arpaio from enforcing the law because the Feds certified his deputies and helped to fund them.

Now to add insult to injury the Democrats want to give these illegal’s access to our Social Security trust fund when they have never paid a dime into it. What they should do is put the funds in to US Customs and The Border Patrol so they can boost their manpower and defend the border. Although if they had done all of this when they were told it was necessary we wouldn’t be talking about militarizing our southern border now.

I personally don’t think that Obama will do anything until it is to late and damage has been done, then he will just say he inherited the problem and blame all of it on G.W. Bush, because everything is Bush’s fault. How ludicrous does that sound, but trust me I am sure that is what he would do.

Well it seems that President elect Barack Obama is in a hurry to get his cabinet members selected, appointed, and confirmed. Hillary is apparently his first cabinet pick and his choice for Secretary of State. I don’t really think he will have a problem getting Mrs. Clinton confirmed, but it might be a different story for some of his other picks.

Three of these people stand out as possible problems with regard to the confirmation process, Governor Bill Richardson, Governor Janet Napolitano, and Eric Holder. All three of these individuals are familiar players on the national political stage. They will also come to the confirmation process with their own baggage, as each has made some politically disastrous decisions.

Bill Richardson has been a very good Governor for the state of New Mexico; however he has two potential problems that may plague him. One of these problems is his involvement in the Monica Lewinsky scandal. It seems that he had offered Miss Lewinsky a position at the UN in an effort to guarantee her silence for then President Bill Clinton.

The other problem he may have is for failing to safeguard nuclear secrets after departing the UN to become Energy Secretary. Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia declared he would never again receive Senate support for any office he sought. This would appear to be very problematic since Senate confirmation would be required for him to become Commerce Secretary.

The apparent appointee for Director of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is another appointee who may have trouble with the Senate confirmation process. In addition to being a lousy Governor for the state I live in, which is Arizona. She was also directly involved in the Anita Hill sexual harassment case against then US Supreme Court Justice nominee Clarence Thomas. Her part in that failed attempt to smear the reputation of an honorable man was as part of the legal team representing Anita Hill when she was a private attorney. It was said that she may have coached a witness for Hill into changing testimony.

The only real obstacle that Attorney General Appointee Eric Holder will have to confront was his choice to pardon Marc Rich when he was Deputy Attorney General under the Clinton administration. Marc Rich was the billionaire on the run who was given a pardon by Bill Clinton on his last day in office. He may have received his pardon because of his estranged wife’s activities as a high paying Clinton donor.

I don’t really believe that if Barack Obama appoints these people to his cabinet that they would fail to get through the confirmation hearings, but I do think that they might get held up there. However Obama’s two picks for Secretary of the Treasury in Timothy Geithner and National Economic Council Director in Lawrence Summers appear on the surface to be strong picks, but I guess time will tell.
